After over 100 years, a stunning and remarkable canyon has come back to life with the removal of the Klamath dams. The Kikacéki Reach of the Klamath River was bypassed for hydroelectric production, but today flows have been restored and the reveal has been nothing short of spectacular.

We had a wonderful time on this rafting trip - exceeded all expectations. Saw two bald eagles, osprey and a ton of great blue herons. William was our guide (Darby was driver extraordinaire), super knowledgeable and extremely skilled, allowing novice rafters to navigate class 4+ rapids without fear! He even took us surfing. Pure joy! Would definitely recommend Indigo for whitewater rafting!

The upper Klamath is hardcore Class 4 & 5, nonstop thrills. Do NOT take small children. Do NOT do this trip without a skilled guide who is knowledgeable of the river features. I have taken my teenage daughters on this trip twice. It is utterly thrilling. Our guides, Yann & Ian, were masters of the river. Breakfast and lunch were both fabulous. Indigo is a top notch rafting company! Once they take out the dams, the Klamath will be a different river. Don't wait!

This was our first trip with Indigo Creek Outfitters, we have been with other guide service providers, but this was by far the “Best” trip we have experienced. Sebastian and his driver/helper were courteous, professional, and friendly, they provided us with care that would be hard to beat. The food was delicious and the root beer floats at the take out point were a pleasant surprise and much enjoyed. The scenery was beautiful, and the rafting was very exciting, to the point that Sebastian broke an ore guiding us through Hell’s Gate, we were not aware it had happened as we were very busy paddling. We are looking forward to going again next summer, so until then; Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
