We booked a full day whitewater raft trip with a little trepidation. None of us had ever been whitewater rafting. As it turns out it was perfect way to start. From the moment we checked in until the time we said our goodbyes, the trip was well coordinated. We had 5 adults in our families (ages 25 - 57) and we all felt we had a great time. Colin was our guide for the day and we had 10 in our boat. He gave us great instruction and was encouraging to some who were older and not paddling as much. Colin did rearrange us in the raft, to even things out, which was fine. The river was not very rough, we were told it would probably class II, this time of year (August). We had enough rapids to keep it exciting but some calm times to relax. Colin shared history of the river and Glacier NP. Our son works on the east side of the park & really enjoyed learning more of the west side.

The guides put out fruit & veggies, chips and salsa, then grilled the steak & chicken. Yummy lunch considering we had worked up an appetite. The 2nd half of the trip was much like the beginning; some whitewater & calm waters.
The weather turned out to be wonderful; 74 and partly sunny. You will get wet & we were happy about that. We didn't take a camera, kind of wish we did, but we did pre-pay for the company's pictures. This was easy, when we were
Please remember to tip your guides, they live on these small wages but love what they do!
