My husband had always wanted to do a whitewater rafting trip and the Ocoee River is only two hour trip north of Atlanta, Georgia. Besides since this was the site of the 1996 Summer Olympics, we knew the trip was going to amazing. Our guide, Ryan B., is a seasoned veteran guide on this river. He was very informative about the history of the river and what the sites were along the route. Ryan made sure we understood the various class 4 rapids we were coming upon and what to do. The lunch provided is very nice and very filling. The attention to making sure everyone is safe and everyone has fun is amazing. There are showers so remember to bring dry clothes and towels. We are talking about having some of our family to come for a family rafting trip.
