We were camping with our two dogs and we do not leave them alone at campgrounds. I emailed the tour operator to determine if the pups could join us and was happily told yes.
This was a hybrid walking ghost tour, with the first half being a ghost tour of one block on the main street of Gettysburg and the second half being an official ghost hunt - equipment and all! We met our wonderful guide Kristy just before dark at a public park. There was very reasonably-priced parking just across the street. Kristy took us to a few sites on the main street and discussed what happened at each site during the Gettysburg battle and what continues to happen via paranormal activity to this day. We conducted our ghost hunt on the outskirts of the cemetery in Gettysburg National Park (but we were NOT in the park after dark, as that is crime punishable with fines - we were just outside of the park). We were provided with divining rods, EMF Readers, a Spirit Box, and a REM Pod. Kristy told us how to use the equipment and then sent us off to see what we could find. The ghosts were ignoring me, but my husband made contact with a Confederate soldier from Louisiana - he apparently likes dogs, eats rabbits, and his last name began with an S.
This was our first ever ghost hunt and we had a blast! We would do it again.
