My entire group (7 altogether) highly recommended this tour. We are avid ghost tour people, and wherever we travel, tend to take ghost tours, and have gone through some great ones.. and some not so great.
This one was excellent, and a highlight of our trip. Santa was our guide! He was fun, friendly, and extremely knowledgable. This was definitely more than just some spooky tales, he not only told us the wonderful stories, but taught us about different things, such as how Gatlinburg got its name, and for those of us who really don't know much about the town, it was fascinating. He also told us how to identify ghosts in pictures, and gave us helpful hints on getting the best pictures.
The end was probably the best part of the trip.. we ended in the historic cemetery. Not only was it creepy and fun, but we got actual ghost hunting equipment to use and walk around with as we took pictures.
We absolutely recommend this tour.
One tip- this is about a mile walk, give or take. You go up and down hills as well, all through the town. Santa was kind and offered people rides back in his car to theirs so that they could pick up the rest of the group, as well as giving us directions back, and other opportunities to get back to our cars, my group just walked back the way we came.
