Just before sunset your adventure begins. After a brief lesson on land, we head into the bay to learn tips and techniques of stand up paddling. Your experience will mostly take place in a calm bay, and one of the best places on the North Shore to experience a Hawaiian sunset - and you get to do see it while you're walking on water!

This is a great chance to sight Green Hawaiian Sea Turtles as they travel back to the river. As the sun fades into the horizon, your board creates a halo of light that illuminates the ocean floor. Enjoy the peacefulness of the water during twilight and as stars begin to shine overhead. It's a perfect mix of fun and zen!

All our instructors are certified lifeguards, super friendly, and highly trained to give you an awesome experience on the water.We are Oahu's oldest running stand up paddle school - 11 years and loving it! learned a lot about trees and what the provided for the island. We also saw turtles, fish, etc… I would recommend this paddle boarding tour it’s really fun and relaxing!

Rainbow watersports is a fabulous little company! Love that it's run out of their rainbow can along the beach. We decided to do some paddle boarding for the first time and it was awesome. Megan was a fantastic tour guide and teacher. I felt super comfortable on the board and got a hang of it quickly and easily. Didn't even fall over (and I'm the clumsiest of the clumsy!) Doing the glow SUP was by far the coolest thing ever. Riding off at sunset and coming back under the dark night sky to stargaze in the open ocean: breathtaking. Highly recommend it. Saw bunch of turtles and fish, and even had pictures taken for us! 10/10, do it!

We had a really great time on the twilight tour. Our guide Kate was incredible. Super knowledgeable, patient, and funny! We had never been paddle boarding before and this was a perfect introduction. Kate was able to tailor her instructions to each person’s skill level. We all had fun and felt safe and secure while trying something new. Highly recommend giving this tour a try!
