The canvas-covered log framed structure where we pan for gold is located just across from our walking bridge, between our office and the gift shop. Depending on the salmon run, we can often spy salmon in the creek. The covered troughs allow us to stay dry while panning, which makes this the perfect activity, rain or shine!

It’s a great place to learn how to pan and actually find gold. It’s $30 to participate, which was more than some, but you do this for the experience and fun. And it delivers. My teenager found about 5 pieces of gold and lived the experience. The staff is very helpful.

It was fun the guide was great show us a lot gold panning did not rust us let us take our time. Just go to have a good time. take photos we got into it and for got to.

Gold Panning with Adventure Sixty North was the perfect amount of fun mixed with old time kitch. The experience took about an hour but we left with gold & gemstonesmbcomic
