If it is Wednesday, it’s Gospel in Harlem. A 60-minute Wednesday Gospel Praise at a neighborhood Black historic church. This is not a church service but an hour of inspirational gospel and spirituals with music ensemble. Visitors are invited to join in the musical fellowship.

It was a fantastic experience. We sincerely enjoyed listening to and singing with the chorists. It was a warm, human experience that enjoined respect and tranquility while energizing our souls. Thanks to all the people who welcomed us and made this show possible.

The 4 female and 2 male singers did their best to make a party. And the entertainment factor was high. They constantly wanted the 250 persons audience to clap, which made it difficult to hear the singing especially when the microphones stopped working. Still they did well - could have been better if all could remember the lyrics they had to sing. With the expected donation at the end of the 60 minutes show covering «light and heating» one should think there was a little extra to pay for proper sound equipment when receiving 1000+ USD in the 1 hour show.
