Overall, good trip. Views of Grand Canyon were spectacular. The lunch stop at the Navajo reservation was delightful. Fun drive down into Sedona, and everything was nicely timed to see the Red Rocks at sunset.
2 things kept it from being perfect:
- the traffic in Sedona is awful, and we probably didn’t need to stay in the town for as long as we did.
- the van was a bit old, and uncomfortable. If you are tall, > 6 Ft, you might have a hard time in the van for as long as we were in there. My son is 6’2”, and luckily no one els was as tall as him, so he got to sit in the front — but if there was a second tall person, someone might have been very uncomfortable.
