We were picked up from the Stratosphere Hotel at 5-30am and were taken to 5 star helicopter base. We were given complimentary drinks, we were all weighed with our bags and photo Id was checked. We were introduced to our pilot Jim, who was super friendly and put us at ease. He was a great tour guide as well as pilot and told us some really interesting things as we passed over. We were then taken back to base after 70 mins of flying,. A guy picked us up and took us to the river cruise part of the day. We were taken to an RV park, where we booked in, and were offered complimentary drinks, along with reusable water bottles. Then we were taken down to a launch point at the bottom of the hoover dam, stunning! It is the closest you get via the river. The boat guy was really good, very friendly and engaging. He told us many facts about the history of the dam and the Canyon. Beware, you get very wet on the boat from the spray, you especially if there is even the slightest of winds. The lunch provided consisted of a wrap of cheese, chicken and veg, a bag of sunchips and an apple. Cold water was available throughout the cruise, as were cold towels to cool yourselves down. After 3+ hours on the boat we arrived at the disembarkment point. We were met by the 5star car and taken back to the base, we changed cars after a brief wait and taken back to our hotel for 1530hrs. A fab day was had by all. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic organisation - no waiting around with all transfers on hand. Helicopter trip over Grand Canyon was amazing then surpassed by the raft trip down the Colorado river. A superb day.
