Although we enjoyed some aspects of the Sunset Tour (I mean it would be tough NOT to with all the spectacular natural beauty!), but only giving 3-stars because there was no off-roading at all. It was more like a Disney version tour of the Grand Canyon's rim with constant talking by the tour guide (who was very knowledgeable) pointing out all the sites with stops to walk around. If you like that kind of thing, go over it, but we would have rather been on our own.

Thanks for the review, we appreciate the feedback.
We are sorry that you did not fully enjoy your tour. There is no off road travel permitted anywhere inside the Grand Canyon National Park, the only way to 'go below the rim' is to hike, or do one of the mule trips. All ground tours operate on paved, public roads and stop at viewpoints open to everyone.
We are happy that the guide provided you with a lot of information, that is one major benefit of a guided tour vs. going on your own.
Thanks again for the feedback.
