Neither of us had been to the Grand Canyon so we decided to take a trip to the West Rim while we were visiting in Las Vegas. We took a tour with Pink Jeep (excellent) and the drive was about 2.5 hours. We went first onto the Sky Walk, which was cool. I liked the perspective, for a fact. We stopped at a number of points around the West Rim and got some great views, great photos of the Canyon, us with the Canyon, us posing for fun pictures with the Canyon! December was an excellent time to visit - NO Crowds! If we're out that way again, we'd like to go to the Canyon floor and maybe ride on the river. The Grand Canyon is too big to explain - just as photos don't do it justice. It's just something you have to see. We're glad we finally saw what we did.

dianeoh1950, Thanks for visiting Grand Canyon West! We're so glad to hear you had a fun experience both at the Canyon and on your tour out here with Pink Jeep. We highly recommend coming back to experience the bottom of the Canyon either view helicopter or whitewater rafting!

The Eagle point really catches your eye with its canyon beauty, shaped like an eagle spreading its wings. I couldn't go in skywalk because I couldn't take pictures myself. I think it's enough not to go in. It costs nearly 10,000 yen for two people. The next grano point on the bus is awesome. The view from the valley beauty from the road and the view from climbing various high ground are different, so please find the best position. Lunch chicen mashed potato with grsvy sauce is delicious. The Viator tour offers Las Vegas Veraggio transfers and souvenirs, depending on the Grand Canyon as well as Hoover Dam and the lake.

Reachable in 2.5 hours from Vegas and perfectly sufficient to get an impression of the canyon! Arrival by own car is relaxed! Enough parking on site! Admission 70€ including Skywalk! You can't just buy pure admission! Entrance + Skywalk or Entrance + Food! So I did the Skywalk and it's not worth it! You queue, you can't take your own pictures anyway. And you only have one view! BUT: you can stay in the shuttle from the parking lot and drive through to Guano Point. And it's completely worth it! Different views. You can still climb a hill and then have a 360 degree panorama! The money was completely worth it! Those who want can then drive their own car to the third point, which is theoretically already on the approach, but you will not be allowed in without a ticket!
