We bought the cheapest ticket at about 60 USD per person and went with a family of 4. We went because of the history behind the show. We knew no artists, and one was switched out and replaced just before the show.
We enjoyed drinks while the show was going on, which was great.
But while we had a very decent view from where we where, people had no respect for the performers. They spoke, ate, kicked my back, walked around, etc.
While it was mythical for us to see the show and the stage, I am glad that that's all we did there. We took good pictures outside with the large guitars, and felt the importance of the place for country music, it was it.
The teenagers didn't enjoy it all that much and felt it was long. I learned about Bluegrass, for which I am thankful for.
Finally, what was the celebration package with drinks and a souvenir has now become the shout out package. For the same 50 $, you now only get your name printed in the program, and the host mentions your celebration. We were 2 couples celebrating that night. However, tons of other people, that hadn't paid, got celebrated and mentioned. Definitely NOT worth the 50 $. Do not take this add-on.
