The guides at Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris will make every effort to showcase as many highlights as possible, and will structure the day around making your experience a memorable one. They will take current road conditions, weather, seasonality, and your personal interests into consideration as they move through the park.

  • The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
  • For groups of 14 guests or less: We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day safaris and a 14-day cancellation policy for all 2-3 day safaris. For multi-day safaris of 4 days or more, we have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a full refund with no penalty. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. For groups of 15 or more guests: We have a 30-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made before the policy goes into effect will receive a refund minus a 10% fee. Cancellations made within the cancellation policy period will not be refunded. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance before your departure to protect you from incurring any costs associated with unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from joining us.

There was a lot of animals and our guide, Jody, was awesome. He was obviously well versed in the area's wildlife, and got us some great viewing opportunities. We saw Elk, Moose, Bighorn Sheep, Bald Eagles, and a couple Bison. Most of the viewing was pretty far off, and just locally around the Jackson Hole area. We were provided 7 x 50 mm perma-focus binoculars, which we could use at will. They also provided a spotting scope, 20x - 60x magnification, and we got many of the really cool photos below through it. It was a really cool experience if you're not well versed in the area, but I'd maybe go by myself on the route next time, and head out earlier. I had hoped the tour would go into the Tetons, but we just really drove about 15-30 minutes out and around the Jackson Hole area, and the Elk Refuge. The horse drawn ride was fun, but sort of underwhelming so early in the year. It was fun, and educational though, so great for tourists passing through.

My husband and I took the Full Day Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Tour on Sept 13th. We were most fortunate to have Grant Bell as our Guide. From the very start we knew we were in good hands. There was just one other couple on our tour so Grant was able to personalize to our interests. We hadn't seen any moose in Yellowstone and this was our first visit to the Grand Tetons. Grant took us to a place before dawn where he suspected that he might find a moose - success! We saw a moose and calf across a field as the sun rose. He proceeded to cover the Park thoroughly with an eye for wildlife - it really helps when you are guided by someone who knows where to look -it is worth the time and money for this benefit plus so much more relaxing than driving and navigating on your own. Grant had a spotting scope which he used numerous times to allow us to see the wildlife up close. He was always asking if we wanted particular photo ops along the way and graciously stopped everywhere our hearts desired. His narration throughout the tour was always interesting and delivered enthusiastically. He drove us up to the summit of Signal Mountain at our request which was a fun adventure and a great view. We visited all the scenic overlooks and Mormon Row for the iconic shot of the barn surrounded by the Tetons. As an added bonus, we were treated to muffins from a bakery in Jackson and juice for a morning snack - delicious! The lunch was the best gourmet picnic we have ever had on a guided tour (and we've been on many throughout the US). First, the spot was gorgeous overlooking a lake with mountains in the background. As we settled into our spots at the picnic table, out came a tablecloth and containers of fresh food which Grant beautifully arranged on various platters. It was very impressive - wish that I had taken a picture of the spread that he created. We had fresh croissants with deli platters of ham, turkey, various cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, a veggie platter, condiments, a platter of fresh fruits, and cookies from the bakery. It all exceeded our expectations and was filling and most satisfying! Well done!!!! Everyone is given a souvenir water bottle with the company's logo on it. The van is comfortable with good visibility and each guest is given a pair of binoculars to use for the day. The time flew by and Grant knew that there was one waterfowl that was on my bucket list that we hadn't yet seen. The other couple was ready to return to the hotel so we dropped them off and Grant was nice enough to drive us to the spot in town where Trumpeter Swans can be seen and made sure that we knew how to get there on our own later. That extra touch was much appreciated as our tour time had run out. I just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our day with Grant - it was truly one of the highlights of our trip! This is a must-do for sure - we would do it again in a heartbeat!
