My husband and I had friends visiting from out of state, and given that we were recent transplants, decided to give us all a unique tourist experience and learn a lil bit of Atlanta history while also being able to eat tasty food amidst good company. We were fortunate to have our tour guide, Kristin, all to ourselves--she provided an upbeat and insightful look into how the ATL came to be. Despite us already knowing each other, she continued to keep the atmosphere light and engaging, and was passionate and knowledgeable in the subject matter being presented. I appreciated her recommending and taking photos of us on her own personal phone, which she forwarded after, so we'd have something to look back on. Seeing as this was during the pandemic, she was generous in passing off her hand sanitizer to us at our food stops, and requiring masks even while outdoors during the tour (do note that there will be indoor dining).
The amount of time split between walking/touring and eating was just right, and looking back, was such a great value. We had an amazing time, and we're thankful to have had Kristin along for the ride!
