Inside each bar, you’ll relax and have time for a drink as your tour guides weave fantastic tales of the history of the establishment and of some of the greatest authors who have hung out, drank and written there- writers who helped shape both the village and the world. Along the way you’ll stop at unique sites that are literary, historical, or alcoholic in nature. The guides were wonderful, so knowledgeable and engaging. They quoted poetry and prose written by the writers whose places were described. Ask for Rebecca and Elizabeth. You won’t be disappointed!

A great tour. We learned a lot about New York and the authors who lived and wrote here…along with their favorite pubs. Our guide was exceptional- funny, knowledgeable, and made friends with all of our tour group. Highly recommend this.
