Vitalay was da bomb! Other pedicab customers could only look in with envy at how fabulous he was. Other cab guys were asking him stuff too. He was super prepared with material, music and took the best photos. A polite, humorous, knowledgeable hard-working young man - deserves top awards for his tours. I wouldn’t hesitate to do this tour again but for longer - it was the highlight of my trip (and we even did the “dear” bateaux dinner cruise!

I stay an extra night in New York to take this 2 hours tour in Central Park. The last day of my trip he text us at 9:00 AM telling us that the forecast says that was going to be raining at 4:00 PM. The day was sunny, the only sunny day of that week. He wanted us to reschedule for another day or time. We told him that we was leaving New York the next day, that we will need a refund. He call aviator and told them to give me a refund. I am mad because all this happened before 10:00 AM on a sunny day. It didn’t rain at all, he just didn’t want to do the tour. I will never book a tour with this vendor.

First of all i sent you e-mail through Viator extranet four days before your tour to inform you that according to weather forecast it would be rain on that day (the only rainy day of the week) and offered to take the tour on another day (these is exact words from that email: “According to weather forecast it is 50% chance of rain on Sunday. So if you would like we can reschedule your tour for another day”). Two days past you did not respond. The day before your tour still showed rain on that day. I tried to call you on your UK phone number but it was turned off or not available. I sent you another e-mail the night before and only on next day two hours before your tour you finally responded. This action that you responded it shows most likely that you received my another email four days prior but did not bother to respond. Secondly in our Viator’s Additional Info says: “It is recommended that you book at the beginning of your vacation. In case of rain you can reschedule to next day”. Which shows you disregarded our recommendation and do it your way. These your exact words: “Hi.Sorry we were unable to take your call. We leave New York tomorrow so were unable to re-schedule anyway! Please arrange the refund for the cancelled trip as promised.” We kept promise. The 99% of people contacted us first or we them to inform about possible rain and 99% people want to reschedule to a sunny day. We have been proactive in you case try to avoid pouring rain. Even two hours before your tour when you responded it showed rain so neither you or we suggested to do tour (so it was not sunny day). It was drizzle for a little bit but not as weather forecast predicted. But imagine if would have been pouring rain. You and guide would been soaking wet. We did couple tours like that so believe it is not a pleasant experience. So we try to avoid this. Anyway, it is example for future customers to avoid mistake this gentleman did. Please book your tour at the beginning of you vacation or be responsive to e-mail. Hope it helps.
