Slip on your heated helmet and hit the gas--we are headed through Alaska's winter playground. This 1 hour guided tour takes place on the outskirts of North Pole where we will thunder across the famous Alaska Pipeline and zip through snow covered forests. We usually see some wildlife on every tour to include: Moose, Fox, Snowshoe Hares, Ptarmigan, Grouse, and squirrels.

All snowmobiles are new Ski Doo luxury touring snowmobiles. These snowmobiles are made for riding in style and comfort. All snowmobiles have heated handgrips and electric start.

Victoria was an awesome guide. She kept us moving without losing anyone. The air was crisp and the sun was glorious. The gear they provide kept us toasty...outer jacket, pants and gloves if needed, and the best--- a HEATED helmet!!!

We feel heated helmets are a must when snowmobiling in Alaska. Goggles consistently fog up and cause issues. Which is why we have the best heated helmets on the market for our guests. Thank you for the review.

We had an amazing experience at Rod’s Alaskan, doing both dog mushing (30 mins) and a snowmobile tour (1.5 hours)—it was an absolute blast! Kristen, our musher, introduced us to her incredible sled dogs, each with their own personality: Cass (the cute one), Puper (the playful 9-month-old), Skandic (the jumper), and Chummy (the 7-year-old veteran lead dog and racer). They were not only strong and skilled but also so much fun to interact with! As dog lovers, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Rodney, our snowmobile guide, made sure we had an exciting and safe ride through the stunning Alaskan landscape. To top it off, he even led us to see a moose in the wild, which was an unexpected and unforgettable highlight! Rod’s Alaskan has such a welcoming and fun atmosphere—it’s clear they love what they do. If you’re visiting Fiarbanks,Alaska, this is a must-do experience! Highly recommended!
