Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon is a quiet, special place off the beaten path just outside of beautiful Kanab. The quiet serenity of beautiful colored Navajo Sandstone rocks that have taken millions of years to form will take your breath away and leave you wanting more.

This is a group tour, but no combination of groups will exceed 10 travelers so that we can keep the experience affordable and intimate.

Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon

On this group tour, (no more than 10 people to keep it affordable and intimate) you will explore the beauty and wonder of Peek a Boo Slot canyon in Kanab, Utah. It's an easy 1.5 mile (2.4K) hike roundtrip through a spectacular slot canyon located about 10 miles north of Kanab. This is a must see while in the Kanab area.

The Canyon was amazing to hike through and well worth the trip. The tour guide, Ken was great at pointing out places of interest in the canyon. He accommodated us by taking amazing pictures of us iwith the backdrop of scenic places in canyon. We were even granted a tour through the nearby animal sanctuary which was quite impressive.

Our tour was fantastic. It consisted of three of us and our tour guide, Ken. We are 3 grandmothers (two retired science teachers and a retired math teacher, so we were all about the science of it). It was not a difficult walk at all. It was really nice to have such a small group. We were always in the middle of the conversation and were able to ask more questions and learn more. Ken was great. He gave us good information and helped us find great spots for photos. He was very knowledgeable about the slot canyon and very personable. He made the tour more fun. The trip out to the slot is almost like an amusement ride. Be prepared for a bumpy fun drive through thick sand. The drive itself was great. I prefer this to a 4 wheeler tour or open air transport since we didn’t want to be covered in sand. The tour was just as what was promised. It is similar to Antelope but a very different tour. It’s very well worth scheduling even if you are seeing Antelope too. Ken took his time and went at our speed. When we wanted to stop and look he didn’t rush us. I would highly recommend this tour and would also recommend Ken. Be ready to take lots of pictures!

We had the best time. Peek a BooCanyon was amazing. We had the most wonderful SouthAfrican born tour guide (Kyle?) I am terrible with names. He was informative and very helpful to my husband by giving him some great phone photography tips that allowed him to get terrific keepsake photos. We even had a bonus adventure on the return trip. We got to witness some tourists get stuck in the sand and temporarily blocked our passage out. We even rescued two unprepared hikers. Kyle was able to use his great driving skills to get us out of the mess and stayed calm and professional the entire time. After seeing what could happen, we highly recommend you higher this great tour company.
