Amazing! My granddaughter and I escaped to Chincoteague for three days. After an already great get-away, we booked a kayaking tour the last day. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The owners of Assateague Adventures, Stephen and Jessica greeted us upon arrival and introduced us to our tour guide, Jacob. All were completely accommodating to our needs. Jacob led us on a fun adventure and focused on my granddaughter’s desire to see wild ponies up close, while sharing history stories of the island. Mission accomplished...we saw ponies and had a great time! Looking forward to our next visit to Chincoteague and Assateague. Thank you Assateague Adventures!

I don’t think there was one thing that we didn’t see! Jess and Stephan were amazing and so enthusiastic about what they do! I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone. A great tour for couples especially because of the double kayaks.

The experience was below our expectations. We did not get to explore neither the marshes nor the creeks. We simply cross the main channel to Assateague Island and saw a few ponies along the shore and many birds. The up close experiences with the wildlife were limited.

We are sorry to hear that the trip was not what you expected, every trip varies as it is an outdoor activity that is quite dependent on weather, tide, and wildlife. Our guides always make sure to choose the best route for the group that day based off of the groups experience level and the current, tide, wind, and wildlife visibility factors.
