Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.

Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.

Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

Guests with limited mobility are welcome, but must call us to make prior arrangements
Single travelers may be required to change time or date of tour depending upon availability
Use of a ladder is required to get into/out of the water. Please give us a call if you have any health related questions.

Ron and Lauren were exceptional guides. To tell you something about Ron, he was a first responder in Katrina. (We're from New Orleans so we were grateful to him.) This tour allows only 6 people unlike others which have 10 folks. Lauren was incredibly gracious to my wife from helping her on with her wetsuit to her patience as she made her way during the tour. It's best to go on the 6:30 a.m. tour: less people and more opportunity to see the manatees. One more thing, as with all the operators, Lauren takes pictures for which they charge $30. I was reluctant at first. She takes still shots (some of which she sets up for us to look good) as well as movies. She puts it on a USB drive for you to take home and do with what you wish. I have since looked at the pictures several times with fond memories. It was worth the extra cost. Oh yes, if you haven't decided to take a manatee tour, do! They are incredible to watch .

Great crew and small group size make for a personal experience. The crew takes the time to learn everyone’s name and talk to all the guests. The small group size (no more than 6) ensures people are not on top of each other either on the boat or in the water. They worked hard to find us manatees even on a slow day (we can’t control nature), and delivered with a mother and calf that spent quality time with us. Highly recommended.
