Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.

Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.

Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

Children must be accompanied by an adult
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
Guests with limited mobility are welcome, but must call us to make prior arrangements
Single travelers may be required to change time or date of tour depending upon availability
Use of a ladder is required to get into/out of the water. Please give us a call if you have any health related questions.

What’s better than supporting a Mom and Pop business? Swimming with Manatees! Captain Ron and Lauren showed us a great time after they found us sitting in the dark gazebo. It was a windy cool morning but Captain had “buttoned up” the boat for the ride to Three Sisters Springs to keep us warm. As recommended make Captain Ron and Lauren get up early for the crack of dawn tour it will be worth it to miss some of the crowds. After viewing dozens of sleepy and active Manatees and learning what the heart rate of a Manatee was we loaded back up for our ride back to the Marina. Hot chocolate and coffee warmed us up as did the warm polar jackets we were loaned.

Our family with two teenagers were in Tampa for a hockey tournament. We had a free day and ventured up to Crystal River for a day trip to enjoy the Small group Manatee Snorkeling Gulf Coast Expeditions. 100% worth the drive. Ron and Lauren were an absolute joy to spend our day. They worked very hard to find the Manatees and were successful. We’ll always remember this trip and will absolutely book again when in the area!
