Desert Dog Offroad has been offering guided off-road adventure tours for over 25 years! What’s better than driving a 800cc UTV Sand Buggy over cool terrain with your best bud by your side? How about having a guide to lead the way so you don’t get lost! Ha ha ha, no but really… Anyways our customer reviews on this off-road adventure tour are through the roof! This is a smile-a-second ride through super-cool desert track; rock gardens, sandy washes, twisty canyons, and technical two track. Water and snacks will be provided at the mid way stop and drivers and passengers can swap at this point. On this
off-road adventure tour, you will also learn about the Flora and Fauna in Sonoran Desert and that the only place you can find the Saguaro Cactus is in The Sonoran Desert. Desert Dog Offroad brings the buggies, helmets, gators, water and snacks. You bring you and see why this is the funnest off-road adventure tour out there!

Couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off a short trip to the desert!! Desert Dog Adventures and more specifically, Ryan, our guide, was amazing!! We did the u-drive dune buggy tour. It was the perfect length of time with several stops and a driver switch if you wanted. Ryan even had water and snacks when we stopped at the stream! Plenty of photo ops and just enough freedom during the drive. Ryan showed us an amazing cactus with a ton of arms coming out of it that we decided to name Optimus, haha, and also gave us some information about the desert flowers and insects/animals. There were several big puddles and the stream was wider than normal due to recent rains. We were 100% soaked through by the time we left, so be prepared with towels/blankets and to shower afterwards. Bringing a bandana to tie around your face and sunglasses will also help keep some dirt out of your mouth! I really couldn’t recommend this more for anyone looking for a great tour and classic desert experience. It was amazing. Make sure you ask for Ryan!

If you are looking for a fun adventure, this is your spot. We were greeted with hot chocolate, warm blankets, muffins and granola bars. Jay and his wife Michelle were amazing and welcoming business owners. Jay made this tour very customized to our needs and he brought us to an amazing lunch spot for some mid-day BBQ. Our tour guide, Kevin, was extremely knowledgeable about anything there was to know about the desert; his passion speaks volumes. Great visit, great experience, fun day and lots of laughs. Everything was above and beyond what most businesses would do! It was something that you can’t get anywhere else, something that we will remember forever. Thank you Jay, Michelle and Kevin for an experience of a lifetime! If you are ever in the area and want to do a little adventuring, this is the only place to go.

My 15 year old son and I had a great time on this trip! It was his birthday present !! The guide was friendly, encouraging, and knowledgeable. We were the only ones booked for that time and the guide gave us his full attention. The only problem we had was the location information on the e-mail confirmation was for their office, not for the site where we were to meet the guide with the vehicles. After a phone call we were pointed to where to meet the guide and all worked perfectly. . The e-mail confirmation should have given us the correct information. Other than that, though, this was a great experience and one of those life experiences we will never forget.
