Our guide was Allen (Alan?), and he really made the city of Boston come alive for us. We had a group of 12 or so, and he went at a great pace for everyone. You could tell how much he loves his city, and although he has probably told these stories dozens of times already in past tours, he told he one as if it was for the first time. He explained a lot of the Boston-centered history with details I had either forgotten, or more likely, never knew. And he included a lot of tidbits about some of the people who lived in and developed Boston. I had signed up for the 70 minute tour (not realizing a longer version was available), and wished I could stay longer when our part of the tour had concluded. It was really the best way to get a real taste of a cool city.
