This company and the guides know what they are going and have been running this company for around 20 years. John is excellent and informs you about everything that is involved, if you’re uncertain, he will encourage you and put you at ease. I learned a lot from hiking with him. I can’t wait to return and book another trip with these guys

We were given a tour of the Yosemite Valley Loop by Dan, who was absolutely fantastic. He took us on a route that was a little off the beaten track and showed us parts of the valley that we just wouldn’t have seen had we gone on our own. Plus of course he told us plenty about the history and ecology of Yosemite that we wouldn’t have otherwise known. We took the ‘moderate’ tour which involved some uphill hiking and around five hours of walking (with breaks), but I’m pretty unfit and I coped with it fine. Thoroughly recommend YExplore - ask for Dan!

Gus was a great guide with a lot of knowlegde - but paying 500$ for a 3h hike on a path which is laid out is not appropriate

Every tour we offer is on a proper hiking trail in Yosemite National Park. It is unfortunate that this guest feels their tour was a "waste of money". Our guide waited beyond our normal wait time for the guest to arrive because they were late. The guide adjusted the route and was still able to provide exceptional service for the tour. The guide also stated that the tour lasted more than 3 hours and this guest was appreciative of his service.
