Experience the most amazing views in all of Hawai'i: the sunrise atop Haleakala! After sunrise, you will leisurely ride custom Kona bikes from 6,500 ft. down the mountain for 20 miles of pure joy! We do the Switchbacks twice! before shuttling you down to Makawao to finish the bike ride to Haiku.

Too much waiting. Biked less than an hour but the whole excursion lasted 7 hours. The actual biking was good and the sunrise watch. Again…so so much waiting. All the other people on the tour had the same feelings

Beautiful to watch the sunrise . Great bikes. Eddy was a nice guide. Breakfast at Colleen’s afterwards was great.

Overall the trip was good but we did feel a bit mislead, the bike ride doesn’t start at the summit, it starts outside of the national park after all of the switchback that were mentioned in description and then you have to get on the bus to drive down more before riding again, just significantly less biking than expected. The speaker on the bus was broken so we didn’t get nearly as much guided narration up as others said in previous reviews. It also would have been nice to know sunrise view is heavily impacted by season so for September it was very cloudy and missed the sunrise. The parts we did were cool we just felt it wasn’t worth the price.
