Experience the most amazing views in all of Hawai'i: the sunrise atop Haleakala! After sunrise, you will leisurely ride custom Kona bikes from 6,500 ft. down the mountain for 20 miles of pure joy! We do the Switchbacks twice! before shuttling you down to Makawao to finish the bike ride to Haiku.

RESTRICTIONS
ALL BIKE RIDERS' MUST:
• Understand and Acknowledge the risks involved
• Be 12 years old or older
• Have recent bike riding experience
• Be over 4’10” tall
• Be physically capable of enduring this outdoor activity
• Be free of any medications that may cause drowsiness
• Not be pregnant
• Not weigh over 270 lbs.
• Wear closed-toe shoes

Sunrise was beautiful and the bike ride was so much fun! The switchbacks were thrilling and the ride through town was awesome as well. We stopped for a delicious breakfast before returning back. Worth the early wake up!

Sunrise was incredible and the bike stroll was very enjoyable as well. We stopped for coffee and some donuts in the local town half way thru the bike trip. Got a little wet bc we are riding in a rainforest and you never know, but it was still a nice ride. Mostly downhill riding on the brakes. Cars were very aware of you and passed when they could. NOW for the summit...dont underestimate the difference in temp up there. We did! We had pants, sweatshirts, and the windbreakers, but we needed GLOVES, BEANIES, and hand warmers! It only lasts for about 30-45 minutes, but it was brutal. Finally, our tour guide was great. Very informative, FUNNY, and made the 2 hour drive go by quickly. Highly recommend!

This was a great experience! I’m really glad we did it! I feel like the bikes could have been better for example the handle bars should have been higher!
