Overall a great experience. My family and I are amateurs in terms of ocean fishing so this experience was new to us and a good introduction. The crew (especially the two captains, Dave and Bernie) were very helpful and assisted in landing quite a few catches. We didn’t get anything big due to most of the large stuff being out of seasons. But there was a few sharks (tiny guys) and a few other cool snappers/grunts that we’re surprisingly easy to just keep reeling in. For the price, a great experience and well worth it. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to come to Miami and do something other than just party (which granted, is a great time too). 4/5 only because We had a few scheduling issues but the staff and crew went out of their way to make sure it was still a pleasant experience and accommodated us after a few errors were made on both ours and their part.

I went to Miami Beach on a winter get away trip from Boston with my wife who doesn’t fish in the ocean. I found the Reward Fleet, through good ratings. I went out as a solo on a half day trip. The captain, & 2 mates were experienced, helpful, & very good at what they do. The weather conditions weren’t the best, cool temps, fronts moving through rapidly, & winds around 20 knots sustained. The Captain still managed to put is on the fish! I would highly recommend the Reward fleet for a half day trip when Miami. Easy to get to the docks, affordable, knowledgeable crew, & Cap knows the fishing grounds very well.
