From shallow mangrove-lined bays and mangrove tunnels to beach views and wildlife sightings, Pelican Bay has everything you need for an exciting adventure out on the water!

While out on the water, kayakers can spot all sorts of incredible wildlife here in Pelican Bay. From dolphins and manatees to bald eagles and ospreys, our amazing waterways are perfect for both epic adventures and stunning photos. There will be plenty of opportunities for photo taking, so feel free to bring a waterproof camera or an inexpensive camera in a waterproof bag.

These rentals depart from our Pelican Bay location in Fort Myers Beach, unless otherwise noted.

Seen in the canal two mantatee and a sting ray coming back a dolphin poked its head up out of water and a mantatee kept following us bobbing its head up and down

The man that took care of us, (so sorry we forgot his name), was great, he made us feel very comfortable being our first time kayaking. The route we took, per his instructions, was beautiful, we really enjoy it, thank you!!!

The staff were very helpful setting me up with the kayak and showing me where to go. I did the recommended loop in the boating channels. I saw a lot of wildlife and got to check out the big boats, nice people, and booming businesses in Mantazas Bay, Hurricane Bay, and Pelican Bay. Thank you!!! The weather was so nice and warm in the morning! Great day for kayaking!
