Enjoy an afternoon in canyon country on the Colorado River with Moab's premier boutique adventure outfitter. This rafting trip covers 7 miles of river, including class I-III rapids (depending on seasonal flows) and plenty of flatter areas for taking a dip and some tranquil floating. We frequently spot wildlife along the way including bald eagles, peregrine falcons, great blue herons, desert bighorn sheep, mule deer, beavers and river otters. Trips are capped at 25 guests and transportation is conducted in air-conditioned vans. Wild West Voyages features top-notch pro guides and clean gear.
Wild West Voyages is known for its smaller group tours and high emphasis on safety, fun, and the educational component of the tour. Your guide is well-read in the area's human history, geology, biodiversity, local lore and current events. We can't wait to share it with you!

Admire the golden light and ever-changing colors on the canyon walls along the Arches National Park boundary. End your day on a natural high of “river magic.” After check-in, your group will enjoy air-conditioned transportation along the scenic Highway 128 on the way to the river. An overall milder experience than our AM Raft Trip, this section provides calmer floats punctuated by occasional splash; the well-known Whites Rapid (Class II or III depending on the season) will cool you on a hot summer afternoon. Let us literally row you into the sunset as you relax and contemplate the journey. The perfect way to cap off your adventures for the day.

We had an amazing time. The team at WWV are incredibly friendly and kind. Jay who took us down the river is a deeply experienced and knowledgeable river man. In addition to being avuncular and charming he knows so much about the surrounding geology, flora and fauna. So the trips are both breathtakingly beautiful and fun but also properly informative.

We had the most wonderful rafting trip with Jonah this afternoon, it was honestly one of the coolest experiences we’ve ever done! The ride itself was chill, with fun, easy rapids and even some swims, and the views were so incredible. The highlight was Jonah’s deep and engaging knowledge of the area, and in particular local wildlife. With his assistance we spotted everything from otter dens to a family of bald eagles! I could not recommend this experience more highly. Thanks Wild West Voyages and Jonah!

We just want to say WoooooHoooo! For us a Colorado River day is also the coolest thing we've done, every single day. A trip is extra special if you can connect with your guide the way you have with Jonah. We aim to share as much as possible and inspire this dynamic on every boat. Our family of four had a wonderful time on our guided rafting tour down the Colorado River! Our guide Jonah did a wonderful job of both keeping us safe and providing us with a wealth of information about the wildlife, plants, river, and rock formations. We saw a fox, bald eagles, herons, a lizard, and many other birds. Jonah showed us quicksand, foraged some edible berries, and found us some fun rapids on a mild river. The kids especially loved hopping out of the boat to swim (and the snacks & lemonade!). The cold river water and breeze from the raft provided great relief from the mid-summer heat. Thank you!
