The weather was sunny and not too cold, just perfect for enjoying a brief walk in the mountains. Just be prepared for the altitude, you can be short of your breath and your ears might pop, though those symptoms are completely normal when you're up that high in the mountains. My guide Elsa was very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun, and everything was smooth, including her driving. I learned a lot about Denver, the mountains, pine beetles, elks, etc. Also, everyone in the group was friendly too. Definitely recommend this, even more so when you're a solo traveler who doesn't want to spend too much energy on planning your own trip.
