This trip includes Class II-IV whitewater and requires no previous rafting experience. The Shoshone Class III-IV rapids offer the whitewater enthusiast a two-mile stretch of exciting but not intimidating rapids. A guide favorite with interesting geology, gorgeous scenery, and some fun whitewater! Depending on weather and water levels, there are also opportunities to take a dip and swim!

Our family reunion trip was a successful in large part due to Glenwood Adventure Company! When we called them a few months ago to inquire about white water rafting, they made it super easy for us to set up a family trip with several families using a personalized link. We started with the easier Two Rivers rafting trip (class 2) due to some family members who were afraid of rafting. The trip was so comfortable and easy that we returned a few days later for the more exciting Shosone rafting trip, which we ALL enjoyed MUCH more. The guides gave clear instructions about safety and rafting guidelines. We felt like we were in good hands with them! Additionally, our guides provided many recommendations for food (Rocky Mountain Pizza, Ming's, Chocolate Moose, Sweet Colorodough) and activities (escape room, Glenwood Adventure Park, Doc Holiday hikes) that helped us plan the rest of our family trip. Highly recommend this company! They were very responsive and friendly.

Recently, my family and I visited Glenwood Springs to escape the Houston heat. We booked a half day private rafting trip with Glenwood adventure and could not have had more fun! Our guide, Joe, was amazing. He was knowledgeable, funny and an excellent tour guide! If you plan on visiting Glenwood Springs in the summer, a rafting trip with Glenwood adventure is a MUST!
