Teton Scenic Floats and Fly Fishing

You will be picked-up from your place of lodging anywhere in Jackson or Teton Village for your fishing trip and we will head straight to the river! The Snake River is a relatively high volume, very braided river and the native Snake River fine-spotted cutthroat trout is the name of the game. Your guide will provide all equipment necessary for the day - rods, reels, flies, leader, lures, etc. All of these half day trips are offered in a float fishing format, two anglers and guide per drift-boat. There is an option of adding a third angler for an additional charge. Your guide will generally start the day with an on-river casting and or skills review session if needed, then it's off and fishing. Anglers will fish as the boat drifts under direction of your guide. The day will wrap in the early afternoon, usually back to your lodging by 1:30pm.The guides also practice catch-and-release so plan on taking some great photos and bringing back some unforgettable memories.

Our whole family of 10 went on the scenic river raft tour and half day fly fishing tours. Both activities were so much fun!! Absolutely beautiful scenery overlooking the Tetons. Jack was our guide on the raft trip. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and pointed out several bald eagles and their nests. We also saw beaver dams and lots of geese. Jack taught us lots of fun beaver facts. Joe and Mike were the fly fishing guides they were super patient with all of us who were new to fly fishing. It was so much fun and everyone was able to catch fish. We caught spotted cut throat trout. Both trips were outstanding and I highly recommend this company. They were super friendly and very good at communicating with us on directions and times to meet.

The river was beautiful and and the scenery magnificent. I spoke with Kilmeny with the company and she was very helpful and trustworthy. If you want to use a company with integrity, this is the company to use and I will use again when we return to Jackson Hole. A side note is my daughter and her husband used this company 2 months prior to our trip and said they had a great fishing trip and really enjoyed Joe being their guide. It was a coincidence we used the same company and happy we did.
