Mark is an enthusiastic captain who knows where the big sharks are at. We got a big great hammerhead and it was a fun experience reeling up that big o monster. The mates were also nice and hardworking. Do remember to bring beer and drink a bottle, the shark got on the hook right after I finished one bottle and I guess u do need some superstition to help u

I had an amazing time from the moment I stepped on the Striker-1 ! I had the pleasure of fishing with the living legend, Capt. Mark the Shark. He and his mate Capt. Alex treated me like family, we had a blast cracking jokes and catching fish all day! Started off with catching a few Bonita to use as bait and then shortly after the smallest rod(shimano tld20) bent like you wouldn't believe and it turned out to be a Spindlebeak Sailfish, an 80+ Pound monster ! I fought it for over 45min, but if the capt Mark and Alex didn't assist with both backing the boat towards the fish and guiding me I would have never caught it. An experience for the books for suuuuure! Who would have thought that a NYC googan would catch a Sailfish on his first sportfishing outing?! I was on the boat a couple of days later as well and we had a blast! I also got to know Russ ! Awesome crew, great time all around! I definitely recommend giving them a shot, they know what they're doing and it's not the usual rip off ride that sadly most captains bring you on! Thank you gents, see you soon !

If you’ve ever heard of the phrase dinner and a show then this is the guy you want to go fishing with because the quote would be fishing and a show. Mark and his whole crew put on a really good show I highly recommend
