We have sailed with Mark the Shark quite a few times and always have had a great time. Can't imagine going to Miami and not going deep sea fishing. My family has had a lot of luck fishing with Mark the Shark. Six sharks on eight trips. Awesome. This time was head and shoulders above the rest. This time my wife caught a 11 foot Hammerhead. It took her a couple of hours to bring in. The shark and my wife were both exhausted, but eventually she won. I tried to help bring in the other rods while she was reeling in the shark, but I guess I am awkward with them as I have never fished. So Mark let me know in no uncertain terms that I wasn't helping but hindering .He was calling me a Googan for my efforts. I had to Google it as I have never heard that before. Turns out that pretty much means he thinks I am useless as a fisherman. Duh, I could have told him that. Mark is certainly colorful. I am sure some would be put off. We have a lot of fun with him. He certainly is an expert in his craft. His 1st mate also is extremely knowledgeable in fishing. He could instantly see the change in the color of the ocean and said we would catch something soon. Dang, it all looked the same to me. He certainly worked hard and seemed to enjoy doing it. Somewhere on his website I once read him saying { paraphrasing} that if they had used him in the movie Jaws it would have been a 10 minute movie. Ha. That was great. We ,once again had a great time and are looking forward to our next trip to Miami.
