We provide a great experience fishing for Alaska halibut. During your fishing trip there is a good chance to see whales and other sea life.

This years Regulation for 2025 from the department of fish and give

1. one halibut charter trip a day
2. The slot limit is 37 inches and below and 80 inches above.
3. and starting May 13 - Sept 9th there is no retention on all Tuesdays, which means we can fish but we can not keep any halibut.

Onboard the Silver Spoon you’re taken care of from the beginning to end. It’s toasty, comfortable and everything you need is available. Captin Bill is so knowledgeable and friendly . We ended up with halibut to take home. We saw so much wildlife; whales, 3 bears, sea otters, and deer. I travel to Hoonah for work and I really hope I can do it again next year. I highly recommend Wooshkeetaan tours for your next halibut charter in Hoonah. He treats you like royalty.

I have been on quite a few charters all over but Captain Bills was the best I've been on by far. We caught Halibut nonstop. Didn't even get time to get all 6 poles in the water. The six of us took turns and had a blast. We also seen whales, orcas, bear, deer, sea otters, porpoises, and eagles. Captain Bill was very knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend a trip with him if you want a great experience like us. Thanks Captain Bill! We will never forget this trip.
