Beautiful place and worth investing in the tour for ease of getting in. We sat there trying to get tickets ourselves which you can only buy 2 days in advance and didn’t get close. With this you get picked up and taken to the bay and get your snorkelling gear and can hire other things if required. You need to pay the £25 each to enter the preserve on top of the transport but it takes away the hassle of trying to get a slot so well worth it for us. Pick up was early 5:50 and there was a bit of confusion on where we are being picked up - but we phoned Viator and got it sorted which was annoying at the time as being overseas we couldn’t use the tour operator free phone as it costs a fortune but a small moan.
The bay is stunning and the fish incredible. The coral is not coloured and looks like rocks due to the nature of the coral but this means the fish pop more. I would thoroughly recommend this. There is a steep walk to the bay but there is a free tram so with kids or those who struggle to walk this is great.
