It was an early start getting into Manhattan from Long Island, but this was worth the early Sunday morning for. We met with our guide on Malcolm X Blvd, very knowledgeable fellow who was able to give a lot of background history on the area. The people of Harlem were very warm and welcoming. Bumped into a rapper who sold us his album, not too shabby! When the rapper heard we were Irish he explained if it ain't green, it ain't clean. Don't be a fool - stay in school. Happy wife, happy life :) Really enjoyed the gospel service at the end. If music was this good at home, maybe I'd go to church - lol.
