It was alright. This is a fun, creative tour with amazing stories. The fundamental problem is that there are no stops (which they are upfront about). But the 90 minute tour was closer to 80 and of those 80 about 10 minutes were random songs by one of the cast and sing-alongs. Politically incorrect jokes and stories of one cast member’s own history/social commentary about the development of Sarasota and the rich dominated the very interesting stories that became an afterthought. I’ve done these in St. Augustine and Savannah, where the performance is more focused and the stories, not the cast are front and center. Further, with the AC in the trolly it was difficult to hear in back. A family made that known, AC was never turned off… poor customer service. One particular cast member, the gentleman who played multiple roles was absolutely amazing. He nailed every part he played. If he had led the tour I think if would have been a different experience.
