Step aboard the trolley for a thrilling and historical musical journey through Sarasota’s eerie past with Lady Melody & Mystery Spirits! Hear stories about famous murders, visit spirited buildings, and explore unsolved crimes during this 75-minute, air-conditioned nighttime tour.

Haunted Sarasota runs Friday nights year-round, but nightly in October 18-31. Prizes for best costumes during October, so come dressed to kill!

Tour includes complimentary beer or wine for guests 21+ at the Trolley Cottage Tiki Bar before boarding.

ALL guests must be 18+. Every guest must have a paid ticket in order to board.

FREE Parking!

My significant other and I did the Haunted Sarasota tour and we absolutely loved it! We thought everything was so well executed. Our tour guide and trolley driver (Siggi) we’re both very friendly and fun, and the local actor who would jump on the bus and play different roles at different location was also great. We had a fantastic time. Get out and do a Discover Sarasota tour! You won’t regret it.

We did this tour with a group, and it was a really fun way to learn some things about Sarasota that we did not know. Are planning to do another tour as well, so would recommend one of these to anyone.

Went on this tour just this past weekend and had an absolute blast. Being new to the area it was great to get some local lore and history through the stories, which were well presented by the tour guide. She was energetic and engaging. There were some unexpected moments on the tour that were very well prepared. Lookin' at you Lucy. Truly made for a special experience. This is a 'theatrical' tour where the guide(s) are in character and looking to raise the level of experience. It's done well and the players certainly seem to be loving the performance. Vielen Dank to our driver Siggi, not just a funny part of the show but a master at navigating that trolley bus through some of the tight streets of down town Sarasota. ok, so 2 negatives, (1) the sound system was not quite working right and I could hear sitting up front, I don't think the back of the bus could hear much. (2) the view from the interior is not great. It is a trolley bus after all, not a traditional tour bus. This is made worse by tinting and interior lighting. So it is hard to see what is being talked about. They did turn off the interior lights at some locations but even then it didn't help too much. Regardless, had a great time and look forward to taking another tour with this group soon but will look to make it a day time tour.

Welcome to Sarasota and thank you for this lovely review! We have reworked the sound system so it is much more clear--keeping the air conditioning blasting does not help the sound levels in trolley-- but thank you for mentioning this area for improvement. Please do come on our City Tour or other daytime tour so you can see Sarasota by daylight!
