After reading so many good reviews on this, my wife and i decided to give it a try.
This was our first time visiting Healdsburg. Its a very nice place.
The plaza is surrounded by restaurants, cafes, boutique stores and of course wine bars.
Plenty of 2-3 hours of parking. For the tour, you will need to find a parking
that is not time limited. Parking rules are fully enforced.
Our tour guide was Coney. She's new but she was wonderful guide.
There were total 7 of us.
Im not a wine expert but have been enjoying wine for some time.
The tour was mainly for my wife. In this case, none of the wine we tasted
really jumped out. The food pairing was ok as well.
Few feedback:
The bakery need to provide a better sample. The chocolate was dry.
the bread was not very good at all. Most people in our group dump the bread
after few bites. After the tour, we came back to try other items but that
did not change my perception. Quality was not there.
The last food was roasted chicken. There was no flavor and it was very bland.
It was served 3 portions of it to try it with 3 different wines. I think
this definitely can be improved.
Overall, it was a good experience. worth 90$ per person? not sure.
