Experience the beauty of winter during the summer on this helicopter and sledding tour. Helicopter into a professional dog camp on top of the Godwin Glacier and meet great athletes, the Alaskan huskies and mushers while learning the ins and outs of Alaska’s state sport. Ride along on an easy, 2-mile dog sled ride, learn more about how these beautiful dogs are raised, then play in the snow and cuddle with the puppies.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Due to FAA regulations there is a 290lb weight limit per seat including any gear a guest is carrying
Seats and helicopters are assigned based on balancing the weight of the helicopter for safety, although an effort is made to accommodate guest preference
Child pricing is for those under 12 years old and infants are considered babies under 24 months

Wow! Wow! Wow! It all begins with a dramatic helicopter ride over the glacier up to the dog camp. Our pilot was very knowledgeable about the glacier and gave us dramatic views of water pools, rivers flowing to and under the glacier, views of the ice flows converging. It was amazing. Our family LOVED the dogsledding. I had a special treat in that the lead dog of my sled team was the lead dog on the winning Iditarod team this last year! The dogs were amazing, You could tell they live to run! At the end we were able to pet and talk to the dogs, and the mushers, AND hold little puppies that will be trained in the future. This was an experience our whole family will remember forever! Thank you Seward Heliopter Tours!

We had a great time and would recommend getting out and doing this. The dogs were great. The helicopter ride was amazing and the dog sledding was a blast. Great trip.

Fantastic helicopter tour! They are efficient and friendly. The views are spectacular. Dog sledding was the most memorable experience that we had in Alaska. Pilot was great and mushers were fun to talk with. Highly recommend. We were able to book the day ahead. Glad we did!
