This is a moderate hike at altitude that many guests may find challenging. This tour is not recommended for people who do not regularly exercise. Out of respect for the other guests on the tour, please consider our Rocky Mountain National Park sightseeing tour if you are unsure if you can meet the physical requirements. Our guides reserve the right to ask guests to stop or turn around on the hike.
We cannot guarantee a specific trail - we chose based on day, condition, crowds.
From November to April, waterproof shoes are highly recommended. Wool socks are also recommended.
Winter weather conditions may exist in the park, please dress adequately for potentially snowy conditions and low temperatures.

Ty was our guide and we were lucky to have him. He truely loves nature and sharing his knowledge of it. During our 5 mile hike Ty pointed out flowers, trees, insects, animals you name it. He knew it. I was picked up in Denver so knew I had a long drive. I packed my earbuds for entertainment but it wasn’t needed. Ty filled the time with teaching us about the areas we drove through and kept conversation going creating a friendly interactive dialog amongst the group. On the way to the park we stopped in Lyons for coffee, pastry and restrooms. Once in the park I was glad I chose this tour rather then renting a car and going on my own. I was able to take in the scenery and not worry about the roads and directions. The trail we hiked was less popular which meant good parking, less people on the trail and more wildlife. I never would have known this being a tourist. I got a good workout and had fun doing it. The trail was an out and back so we stayed as group on the way out and came back at our own pace. This was definitely the way to go and I would do it again.

Had a great time on Mt. Falcon. Exercise was low key; wildflowers were diverse and abundant; weather was lovely; Lauren is experienced and prepared for anything, yet as enthusiastic as if it's all new to her. She took us over varied terrain, and crammed many beautiful viewpoints into an unhurried half-day walk. Mid-July was not very busy: our group was only 4 people.

Did this tour with my husband and my mom. We all loved the experience from start to finish. We had a great small group and wonderful guide, Jed. Jed was very knowledgeable in the flora and fauna of Colorado and the National park. He shared plenty of great knowledge and fun facts - some of my favorites were about the parks history and edible (and poisonous) plants. He was very attentive to the group, moving at our pace and ensuring everyone’s safety. We ended up collectively deciding to extend our hike into a loop trail which made it about 7 miles. The hike overall was not extremely difficult but we were all feeling the burn by the end of it!
