We were a group of 11 people visiting for a bachelorette party and after some research we decided to book this excursion during our trip. Because of COVID-19 we have been very careful in what we book and wanted everything to be more “private”. On the “additional info” section it states that the max capacity per boat is 12 people so we thought—perfect for what we were looking for! We booked for 1pm tour and used the address listed to map us over. On the way, I tried calling 3 times to confirm but never got an answer and even tried different automated menu options but no luck. We arrived around 1:03pm but we weren’t sure exactly where the location was, as they didn’t state a name or suite number. Finally someone from the shopping center directed us to the right suite. When I entered, I told front desk that we were here for our excursion she said we were too late and the boat had left already... I was extremely confused as how could the boat leave if we are 11 out of 12 people?!? She was quick to say I wrong and the boat capacity is 22 people and I advised them to address the fact that their trip advisor stated differently.. I also stated that I tried calling 3 times to ask for directions. She proceeded to show me her cell phone with no missed calls on her end. She said “sorry, not my problem.” Then I stated we originally were on time but couldn’t find the right location due to no name or suite number and she said the beginning of the address is the street number and their suite number is there too which again wasn’t stated anywhere on the trip advisor or the confirmation emails. She proceeded to raise her voice at me, focused on the fact that I was wrong rather than providing solutions. I asked what she could do for us as 11 paying customers that would ACTUALLY like to go on this excursion and she coldly started she could squeeze us in for 9am the next day. We had plans, but thankfully our excursion was kindly able to accommodate a time change. KINDLY. Customer service = -1 stars
The first part of this review is upsetting and unprofessional and really what saved me from giving less stars was the actual excursion experience.. WOW Monica and the captain were so knowledgeable and friendly! They saved the experience for us. She was able to find about 5/6 dolphins for us to see and had so many facts and info on them, we were intrigued the whole time. I will say definitely bring a jacket at it is CHILLY and a lot of wind!! Overall you’ll definitely see dolphins and get what you’re paying for all while having a great time! Excursion itself = 5 stars
Customer service is very important to me, so I must say that I will not book again. I averaged my ratings for an overall score. If they fix customer service, maybe it will be a 5 star experience for you. After all, who wants to start on the wrong foot?
