This unique tour starts with an exciting boat ride to beautiful Page Island, Outside's private paradise. Along the way, your captain will find tell entertaining stories and help spot interesting wildlife. Watch for dolphins and birds that call the tidal marsh home. Once on Page Island, you'll be launched in our comfortable kayaks and led on a scenic paddle through the Daufuskie Island nature web. Learn all about the local ecosystem and the critters that live there.

Had an amazing time. We saw dolphines on the boat ride to Page island. Kayaking was a bit of a task as there was a current we had to paddle, but still well worth the time and money. Captain/guide Grant was very knowledgeable.

Captain Pipi was the best! Very knowledgeable and engaging. Even got to catch some dolphins at play. Kayaking around page island is always a treat of wildlife.

I participated in this water boat/kayak adventure as part of the Women’s Association of Hilton Head Island (WAHII) “On the Water” interest group. We did a kayak tour of Page Island. It was a glorious day surrounded by lovely nature, beautiful water and like-minded women…all looking to spend a Saturday meeting new friends and learning interesting facts about this wonderful place we live. Pippi Itkor was the captain of the boat I was on. She was not only fun and FUNNY, but she was exceptional at her craft….multi-tasking at its finest. Her knowledge of the ecosystem - and all things barrier island specific- was top notch. I learned a lot, got some (quite a lot) of exercise, and came home happier than expected! Her co-captain Grant (different boat) was an excellent guide on the kayak portion I experienced with him. All-around applause for the entire Outside team. I will return again! **This tour started at 10 am and went until approx. 2:30 pm.
