Join our knowledgeable and lifeguard certified guides as we explore the history of this intriguing area, from the surprising history of Moku Ola (coconut island) to the changes our dynamic landscape has made to Hilo town. We’ll mosey along tranquil rivers and explore hidden waterfalls, beaches, and a hydroelectric plant, all the while keeping an eye out for friendly honu. Take a refreshing dip if you’d like before heading back to shore. Water and light snack provided.

The guide was helpful. I think he changed our route for flooding, but we simple kayaked to the king statue from the rear and then back to the hotel. We did not see any waterfalls, not even small ones. We could easily have rented the kayak and just kayaked around the shore for 2 hours.

Victor, he was fantastic, we had so much fun with him. He is great guide. If we were staying longer we would go again. Victor is a gem!!
