Let me preface this by saying we were travelling as a Girl Scout troop with a day tightly packed with Girl Scout related tours around Savannah.
This tour is advertised as hop-on hop-off. That is NOT the case.
We arranged our day in Savannah around that idea - hoping to hop on at Stop 8 and back off at Stop 2 and then continue from Stop 3 and finish at Stop 7. At Stop 8 we were informed that we had to START our tour at the first stop. When we questioned why, the driver became very rude, screamed at us, and shut the door in our faces. In front of a troop of Girl Scouts no less.
The company finally sent a shuttle out to bring us back to the first stop. Once we were finally on a trolley, the guide stopped the trolley to yell at a couple of women having a quiet conversation between themselves. They weren't being disruptive, but the tour guide said, "I'm not moving until you stop the chit chat."
When we got off the trolley we were informed there might not be room on the following trolley for us and that we were taking a risk getting off. Now what good is hop-on, hop-off service if you overbook your trolleys so much no one can get back on once they hop off?
The only redeeming part of this experience was our guide on the backside of the tour - Mr. Komedy. Not only was he informative and funny, but he went out of his way to deliver us back to Stop 7 after everyone else departed the trolley to make sure the girls didn't have to walk several miles back for our dinner reservations.
I didn't see anyone having these kinds of problems on the other trolley tours in town - plus their trolleys were MUCH nicer. I would recommend spending a little more for the convenience and comfort of a nicer, more reliable tour.
