I did a lot of research to pick which hop on/hop off tour to take with my kids, and landed on this one because of the reviews. Mistake. No one mentioned that the River Street stops (12 & 13) would not be functioning (due to construction/congestion on River St.) until AFTER we purchased our tickets and we were already 2 stops into the tour. Felt like false advertising - especially since the other trolley companies were still running merrily up River. Then, we only had 2 costumed characters during the whole tour - why bother? Finally, when we did get off to shop and then needed to get picked up, we watched 3 trolleys of "the other tour" come by and get people for every one trolley of ours. Could have saved money and time with the other guys. We were not the only ones perturbed by our experience today - lots of folks waiting to re-board with us felt hoodwinked.

We apologize for your experience. We have bypassed Riverstreet the last 2 weeks due to the city wanting to limit traffic on Riverstreet because of construction work. We were getting delayed down on the river up to 30-45 minutes which creates issues for us getting to stops in a timely manner. Thus, with the city's request and the delays we experienced by trying to go down on the river, we chose to bypass those stops. We apologize that you weren't informed prior to purchasing tickets. We try to provide at least 2 characters per tour. Our tour is 100 minutes in duration and it's difficult to have more than 3 or 4 per tour due to time constraints. We apologize that you felt hoodwinked. Overall, we hope you enjoyed Savannah, and would love for you to try us again when things get back to normal.
