The views are great. The guides were informative. The bus drivers were pleasant. They provided a map of the route and the 21 stops, and a schedule. For people who want to simply ride the bus, it's a great tour. But for the hop on/hop off option, which cost $10 per person extra, what would have been a great added value would be more information about the sights to see at each of the 21 potential stops. Kind of a 'walking tour' describing the 4 or 5 buildings in the immediate neighborhood close to the bus stops. We hopped off 2x but we weren't sure which buildings might allow free entry, which would be interesting to view the interior of, knew none of the history of the close-by buildings, etc.so we simply wandered the neighborhood looking at the exteriors.

Thank you so much for the review. We are glad you enjoyed the views of our great city, the driver and guides. We apologize that we are unable to give an in depth explanation for a walking tour at each stop. We really try to give a great overview of the history, architecture, current events and attractions at each stop. The All Day Pass is $34.95 and Just the Tour is $29.95, a great added value for only the difference of $5.00. We hope to have you tour with us again sometime!

For the first time tourist to Pittsburgh this is a GREAT way to learn about the history and town. The tour is a 2 hour jaunt around the Steel City and one gets awesome information that could be used to decide about other places to visit while in town. Our guide Shawn was tremendous. He interacted with those of us on the tour and was very knowledgable of all the places discussed. One gets facts and trivia for the next time a person wants to share what they learned or can remember from the tour. Who would ever guests a 4th River was discovered in Pittsburgh? The Pro football team was known for a brief period during war time as The Stegals. Yes Philly and Pittsburgh joined forces. Well worth the price and chock full of information. Highly recommend this!

Timely boards and stops, very informative and pleasant tour guide. We had a beautiful, sunny, cool summer day for our tour. Helpful staff. Would definitely recommend it. Great way to see the city and decide what you want to return to later.
