This is simply a tourist activity and a way for the owners to generate revenue. It was OK, the "entertainer" was fun and helpful, but he was from Georgia and clearly trying to fill time. The meal was fine, nothing exceptional. The covered wagon was OK, had basically padded seats and rubber wheels, so not nearly as rough as a real covered wagon.

Hi Jim, Thank you for joining us. We really strive to offer a great tour, employ students, hard working individuals, retired veterans and amoung other great people, and are one of the only business trying to keep and preserve draft horses. We are only open 4 month due to the harsh conditions of Alaska but have to pay for bills year round. I have actually never paid myself in the 28 years I have owned the business I am lucky I have a very supportive husband.. so your comment about this is the owners trying to generate revenue was a bit intersting... You can judge and have your opinion but it is incorrect! Yes I am trying to stay in business, fought through covid.... kept people employed... still paying very large commisions to holland Amercia/princess and other large compnies such as trip advisor... fed my horses... and didn't stop donating to all the local kids events and charity requests. All of our reveune goes back into the business to keep and maintain 18 draft horses year round in the cold Alaskan winters, and to try to maintain and fix our facilities. I wish you happy travels and I hope people are kind and generous to you and your family.
